


This CITB Health & Safety Awareness 1 day virtual course will be delivered remotely, using instructor-led online learning. The course content remains the same as classroom-based training, however, you’ll attend a scheduled, interactive class via Zoom video conferencing. For this, you will need access to a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker (sorry, no tablets).
This CITB course is aimed at people who are entering or are already working in the construction and civil engineering industry. The site safety plus course provides candidates with an understanding and practical summery on the health, safety and wellbeing of their employees and the general public. This remote learning course covers their responsibilities and duties and what they should do if someone's health and safety is compromised.
Delegates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to successfully attend.

The CITB ONLINE Health & Safety Awareness course will cover the following: -
Course assessment will consist of a multiple choice test of 25 questions, of which 3 are safety critical. Delegates are required to achieve the pass rate of 80% (20 out of 25) and MUST get all 3 safety critical questions correct.
The exam will be scheduled at a convenient time and is conducted via a 1-2-1 Zoom video call with your tutor. No secondary devices (i.e. mobile phones) are allowed during the exam.
This one day virtual CITB course can be for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry.
Delegates may choose to progress to either the online instructor led SSSTS course or SMSTS course depending on job role.
CITB - Construction Industry Training Board (Site Safety Plus)
A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary in order to attend and complete the course successfully.
Students are required to complete their training on a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker (sorry, no tablets).
CITB certificates typically take between 6-8 weeks to be issued. You can also view your results online via the CITB profile at www.citb.co.uk/cards-testing/online-card-checker
CITB do not currently offer a card option in place of the hardcopy certificate.
