


The CITB Health & Safety Awareness 1 day course is aimed at people who are entering or are already working in the construction and civil engineering industry. The site safety plus course provides candidates with an understanding and practical summery on the health, safety and wellbeing of their employees and the general public. The course covers their responsibilities and duties and what they should do if someone's health and safety is compromised.
Delegates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to successfully attend.
* PLEASE NOTE - It will take approximately 2-3 weeks for the CITB to issue an E-Cert *

The CITB Health & Safety Awareness course will cover the following: -
Course assessment will consist of a multiple choice test of 25 questions, of which 3 are safety critical. Delegates are required to achieve the pass rate of 80% (20 out of 25) and MUST get all 3 safety critical questions correct.
This one day health and safety course can be for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry.
Delegates may choose to progress to either the CITB SSSTS training course or SMSTS course depending on job role.

A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary in order to attend and complete the course successfully.

The joining instructions will indicate if lunch is provided for the duration of your course. Should you need to know prior to booking please contact one of our team who will be happy to advise.
Course joining instructions are sent 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement. If you book within this time frame they are emailed within 24 hours of the booking being placed.
Start and finish times are confirmed on your joining instructions which are issued 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement. Failure to arrive at the requested time may result in the delegate being turned away.
Yes, a name change can be completed at any time free of charge. You can submit your request by emailing our customer service team at training@easybooktraining.co.uk or calling on 01892 543000.
CITB do not currently offer a card option in place of the hardcopy certificate.
If you should fail the course our customer service team will be in contact to discuss your options. Our team will talk through the process to help you achieve the qualification required in the most effective way.
