This short online PPE training course looks at the different types of PPE, how it protects you from harm, and the legal responsibilities of employers and employees. You'll understand when and how to use PPE properly, to make sure you comply with health and safety standards.

At the end of this course, you will take an online exam containing 20 multiple-choice questions. The exam is marked automatically and you’ll find out your results straight away. A pass mark of 80% is required, however, if you are unsuccessful, you can re-take the exam as many times as you need to at no extra charge.
This online course is for anyone who works in a high-risk environment, carrying out activities that need additional protection above and beyond standard health and safety procedures.
If you're an employer or supervisor, you may be responsible for implementing health and safety measures, choosing suitable PPE and supplying it to your workers. Make sure you're able to choose the right PPE for the right activity, to comply with legal requirements and keep everyone safe.
There are 2 stages to achieving the CSCS Green Card. It doesn't matter which order you complete the below stages in.
Once the above 2 stages are complete you can then apply for your card directly with CSCS. The cost of the card is currently £36
