Every business that collects and handles personal data has to comply with the law. In May 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) added extra responsibilities to the Data Protection Act 1998.

These changes relate to obtaining consent to collect personal data, the right to be forgotten and the appointment of a Data Protection Officer.

All affected businesses are now expected to update their data handling processes to make sure they continue to adhere to legal requirements.

This online GDPR course has been created by a qualified finance professional, who will help you to understand what changes you need to make, and how.

  • Obtaining consent – methods, right to withdraw and data subject rights
  • Consent to transfer data outside the EEA
  • Data controller, obligations and data security
  • Handling breaches in reporting
  • What are the processor obligations?
  • How to transfer data across borders safely

Assessment

At the end of this course, you will be expected to take an online exam containing 10 multiple-choice questions. The exam is marked automatically and you’ll find out your results straight away. A pass mark of 80% is required, however, if you are unsuccessful, you can re-take the exam as many times as you need to at no extra charge.

  • How do I get my CSCS Green Labourers Card?

    There are 2 stages to achieving the CSCS Green Card.  It doesn't matter which order you complete the below stages in.

    • Stage 1 - Complete & Pass Safe2Site Online Training Course
    • Stage 2 - Take a CITB Health, Safety & Environment touch screen test at your local centre (Approximate cost is £21)

    Once the above 2 stages are complete you can then apply for your card directly with CSCS.  The cost of the card is currently £36

    PLEASE NOTE - The cost of the online course does not include the touchscreen test or CSCS card application.

  • Is this course accredited?

    Yes the course is certified by CPD (Continuing Professional Development).  Many of our online courses are also approved by RoSPA (Royal Society of the Prevention of Accidents).

  • What device can I take the training on?

    The course can be accessed on any mobile, tablet, PC or laptop with an internet connection.

  • If I fail the course assessment, can I retake it?

    Yes! Don't worry you can retake the assessment as many times as you need and there are no additional charges.
