The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations for a Telehandler (Telescopic Handler) is a nationally recognised certification within the construction industry. It shows a level of competency and efficiency expected for safe handling operations, while building on your prior training and experience as a telehandler forklift truck operator.
If you’re looking to achieve your Blue CPCS or NPORS card, this competence-based training will provide all the skills and knowledge you need to carry out your role safely and effectively. By the end of the hands-on NVQ, you’ll be confident in your ability to demonstrate a range of tasks on a construction site, from risk assessments and method statements to practical tasks and timesheets.
There is no set time frame for completing this qualification. The length of time required will depend on your experience and whether you've already completed the core units.
NVQ bookings will be processed based on the delegate's original site location. Should a delegate move site before any visits, additional travel costs may be incurred.
At the end of the NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations, candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and skills required to update their CSCS card for a Telehandler.
